Hello! If you are thinking of learning Italian or improving it, you are in the right place!

I work with students of every level, and I believe that a good lesson should be light, useful and especially pleasant. My goal is to make you feel comfortable while you learn to communicate naturally, without anxiety and rigidity.

My name is Andrea De Francesco. I’m from Tricase in Salento and I hold a Master’s degree in Modern Languages, Literatures and Translation. Languages have always been my favourite way to get in touch with new people and new perspectives. That’s why I chose to teach: I like helping students to understand not only the words, but also what lies behind them, such as gestures, habits, idioms, and that uniquely Italian way of experiencing things.

My method is simple: we talk a lot, we listen, we try, we make mistakes together, and we get better. There is no need to be locked in a room with an open book, but we can learn over a cappuccino, sitting on a bench, or commenting on what’s happening around us. The most important thing is that you feel the language as something alive and part of everyday life.

Each course is tailored to your needs: we decide together on the timing, pace and type of lessons. You can have short but frequent meetings, longer appointments or intensive periods if you want to progress more quickly. Total flexibility.
