I’m delighted that you want to learn Italian (or better)! It will be my pleasure to accompany you on this journey with patience, structure, and passion for teaching. My goal is not only to introduce you to the language, but also to give you a tangible insight into the culture, lifestyle, and subtle nuances of everyday Italian life. It’s very important to me that you feel comfortable during the lessons and gradually become more confident in using the language.

My name is Raffaella Morelli. I’m from Nardò in Salento and studied Modern Literature at the University of Salento. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Modern Linguistics. I’ve been teaching for several years: I started with homework help and private lessons, and since 2025 I’ve been teaching Italian, history, and philosophy at the Istituto CEIS in Galatone. In addition to teaching, I have over five years of experience supervising international students—an experience that has greatly enriched my language practice, especially in English.

I am a reliable, patient, and friendly person. For me, language means much more than grammar and vocabulary: It opens the door to new encounters, new perspectives, and a taste of the Italian joie de vivre. This is precisely what I want to convey in my courses.

That’s why our lessons don’t necessarily have to take place at a desk—they can also take place while strolling through a market.

The duration, format, and cost of the lessons can be agreed upon flexibly and individually—from individual lessons to intensive programs, everything is possible. It’s best to discuss your needs together.
