I’m Roberta, an Italian tutor, performer, and passionate explorer of language and culture. I’ve been teaching Italian for 19 years, blending my background in Foreign Languages and Cultures, my master’s in Cinema, and my training in Physical Theater and acting. For me, a language is not just spoken… it’s felt.

I was born in a picturesque valley in northern Italy, between Lake Iseo and the Alps. Since childhood, I’ve been irresistibly curious about languages and different cultures. This curiosity made me a traveller and an eternal learner, leading me to live in Spain, Portugal, Brazil, and Argentina. I speak the languages of these places and I know exactly what it feels like to start from zero, the challenges, the discoveries, the joy.

Now I live in San Cataldo, Marina di Lecce, a place I love for the sea, the sun, the cactus, and its glowing, simple beauty.
As a teacher, I use the natural method: a full immersion in language and culture, with real and updated Italian through videos, films, podcasts and music. Because Italian isn’t only something you speak, it’s something you live, and sometimes even sing (“perché no?”).
